Akitakata-city
Located roughly in the center of Hiroshima Prefecture, Akitakada City is a satoyama with a population of about 27,000.
The city is home to Koriyama Castle, which was the residence of Mori Motonari, famous for his three arrows. On weekends, 22 bands representing each village in the city perform Kagura (Shinto music and dance)!
